just wondering does anybody sew up or staple there dogs wen they get cut  the reason i ask is because most of the posts on here i read about iragation ,puting cut and heal or other topicals but nothing about stapleing or sewing   i ask because i staple or sew most all cuts unless real bad then dog goes to the vet or the cut is minor

I found that if the dog can get to the cut with his mouth, it dont much pay for me to staple him up cause he'll pull em out.  But if he cant reach the cut, i do staple them up and spray cut heal on em...Always givin em cephalaxin after that...

Like Hightwater said. I'll also let the dog lick there wounds if they can reach it. I will iragate the cut and let the dog lick the wound. If the dog cant reach the cut I'll staple it up, sometimes sew it. Just depends on where the cut is and how bad it is.

I dont staple anything...waisted time cause they alwyas pull them out anyway. If it is too big, Ill sew it  but the small stuff they can lick, I leave it alone.  Cut n heal and antibotics are a life saver.  Sewing is easy...and will last way longer than any staple.
