I took a day off work Friday and DaisyDog and I hit it about daylight, we caught three by 9:00am. We tied two of them for the memorial day festivities at the VFW in Pottsboro. They asked me to get them a couple of hogs for thier dinner bash. Mission Accomplished! We had some new hog dogger friends come out Friday evening with three young dogs and I brought my grandson along on his first doggin hunt. We also had two teenage boys come down from Oklahoma with DaisyDogs brother-in-law. To make a long story short we caught a good sow out in the wheat and my 9 yo grandson Ian made a perfect stick and was very excited and proud of himself. he asked me for a copy of my upcoming hunting schedule so he could make plans to come with me again. We went on to catch two more good boars over 200# one had good teeth. Had a great time and made some new friends.  |

Good stuff bud, glad to hear the little guy got it done! That will shape him the rest of his life. You are glad you didnt come with me on a marathon......with no wheeler.

I am still a young man 47 the day I took him hunting.....lol It has been diferent this time around. With my 5 sons it was a duty and a pleasure. With my 3 gransons and brand new grandaughter it is a warming feeling with no preasure. What a great life  Hi Sam good to hear from you again |

Im looking forward to the day I can haul my grandkids too the woods. My grand daughter is 13 months old so It wont be much longer.
