Had a farmer call about this hog, said he was costing him about 25-30 watermelons a night. They had been trying to shoot it but never got a chance. Me and Shawn got there about 5 in the morning and dropped Sox and Tiny. They had a hard time trailing at first, the hog had walked early the night before and covered about 10 miles it seemed through a bunch of different fields and pastures. They finally took it into the woods though and sat down bayed. Sent Lop and it was over. It was the only hog on the whole place but a good'un.. 349lbs on the scales..  |

aggie, we gave the hog to one of the farmers to make some sausage.. I have 2 on the wall now with bigger teeth. I won't get another one mounted until I catch one with bigger teeth than them or if he kills one of my dogs ( a good dog, which I don't know if I have any of).. They offered us a good bit of money actually, but we didn't take it, just told them to put in a good word for us with all the other farmers. Oh and they gave us a sack of some of the best sweet corn I've ever ate and said come back and get some watermelons in about a month.. I'll be back...  |

Yall know how everybody says they saw a 500lb hog that was 4 foot high and wouldn't fit in the bed of a full size truck..
We conducted a little experiment. When we got out of the woods with the hog there was about 30 people waiting at a little fruit and vegetable stand down the road to see this hog. We let everybody guess the weight, and not one person guessed anything under 450 and the highest being 550.. I guessed 330 and figured it would be a little more but didn't want to guess high.. Shawn was almost dead on at 345..
