Thanks for all the kind words. He is a tuff lil dog. I took him to ten mile outfitters today, and he made me proud. Tomorrow I plan on turnin one loose in the yard to see how he does with a pig that can move. The one in the video was tied.
Did the link work?

I let Billy bay some pigs in a trap for a while today while I snapped a few pics.  He stayed about ten feet from the pen working circles the whole time.

Billy had his first confirmed find and bay.  He was on his way to a bay along another dog's track.  He broke off and went bay this sow.  He kept her bayed about 15 minutes before any other dogs went help him.

WOW! I just read through this whole post... That is an amazing story! I don’t even know you and I’m proud of you! That just shows what a lot of hard work and determination will do… and it paid off! He turned into a good looking dog, and he’ll find you hogs! I’d say that’s a win win! Good stuff, and thanks for sharing!  Grin

Well hog bit, that's about the coolest thing I've read on here in awhile. I read the whole thread again just now, I had all but forgotten about that dog. This is one of those stories that you hear from your brother in law that heard it at work......you never think that it really happens, but you're the living proof that it does,....take pride in what you did for that dog,....he was a goner for sure I thought when you got him. Good job bud,....enjoy hunting with him now,.....you certainly earned it. Wink
