Real nice looking silver! I've been tryin' to catch a silver worth mounting for a while.... maybe one of these days... caught some big and perty enuff ... just not with enough story to make it mean anything to me...
Sure would like to have a full body mount, but I'd rather see the hog posed in "slinging mode"...

My husband (raider54) and I went to Scott's house (imthbdmn) to take these pictures. We knew it would be an awesome looking mount, but had no idea just how great it actually turned out. The coat on that boar is so thick! It was a winter boar and you sure can tell by all of the hair on the bad boy.  |

Now THAT IS FINE!!! I had one mounted a while back. They never turn out exactly how they looked in real life. I think the forms they use are shaped more like a domestic hawg with a shorter and wider head. But that really is the best looking hog mount I've ever seen. The next one I get will just be the head though so I can hang it on the wall. I can't ever find a good place to set the one I have. I just brought it up to our cabin so it won't be in the way here at the house.
