Went to my honey hole this morning and had a friend of mine, Roger, and a couple of his dogs with me and my pack. Hunted for a couple of hours and finally struck in the hogs. one of rogers dogs and my 9 month old puppy, boots, went on one hog and Sadie and a couple of other dogs went on some other hogs. Rogers dog and my pup Boots were bayed pretty solid so we went to them. We got pretty close and turned PPC Uniqo loose and just as his feet hit the ground the curs caught and Uniqo went in and sealed the deal. Roger legged, flipped, and stuck the hog as I had just pulled a muscle in my back and was not much help. It was a nice sow of about 150 lbs. Nice cool morning and a good hunt except for my Back. Now i cant hardly move. Roger holding the pig. A close up of Rogers dog on the nose and Uniqo on the ear. The sow on the four wheeler

Sounds like a fun hunt! Is that dog on the nose a bully-cross? Haven't seen many straight curs catch on the nose like that.... send that cool air this-a-way

Yes shes a good dog. Roger caught a nice boar with her this morning. She has a lot of hustle to her to. Pretty much a running on the ground type catch dog.

dont know if its appropriate for this post but its not worth startin a new one over. http://www.boardogs.com/Boardogs_classifieds_pups_471.htm these are the most solid american bulldogs i've ever seen. just wantin to know ya'lls opinion since your the AB experts. would the sire physically even be able to work?? its the biggest chest i've ever seen on a dog.

AUSSIEDOGGER, There are about a million opinions on AB's mostly falls down what line you prefer. I personnally wouldnt have one of these dogs. TO BULLY and definately not built for speed or for endurance. I prefer a more standard performance looking bulldog most commonly seen in the Scott Bulldog. His website is owlhollowkennels.com Another site that has some great proven bulldogs on it is www.whiteknightabs.com There HOG HAMMER dog is pretty much what i think a perfect catch dog should look like. I grew up with performance and OSW AB's and these are just my opinions..... I have yet to see a BULLY (JOHNSON) type bulldog be able to keep up or have a stable enough temperment for me

yeah they just dont look sound. 100 pound on foot long legs just dont look like they could handle much at all. Wow! those white knight dogs are awesome! i've never seen that style of dog in australia. maybe we only have the johnson type...
