A hunting partner of mine has gotten his feed business underway, and feed is now available for retail sale.  Outlaw Feed was created with sporting dogs in mind, to be a good quality feed at a reasonable price.

Currently, there are two grades of feed available:

1)  21% Protein, 15% Fat - This is a pork based feed.
2)  26% Protein, 18% Fat - This is a beef based feed.

Current pricing on the standard feed is $14.75 / bag, and the high-pro is $16.50 / bag.  All are bagged in 50lb quantities.  I've been feeding the standard feed for a while, and the dogs are doing great.

Feed is sold locally near Belton, TX.  In addition, delivery routes have been, and are being formed all over the Central Texas area for volume buying.

For additional information, contact Travis Farr at 254.534.5279.

Bryant do you find less waste and harder stools when using this feed?  I am real interested in it just wondering how it is processed by the dogs.

Matt,

Yes I do.  Keeping dogs on concrete is the absolute best way to judge feed.  I rate it by how long it takes me to clean each day! Sounds kinda graphic, but I like a feed that when I hit a turd with the sprayer, it rolls right out the back and into the drain trough.

Prior to this, I was feeding Red Flannel.

I need to make a trip to Milam county this Friday-Saturday, I may come get a few sacks and give it a try.  Where is the closest place to get it to the Calvert-Cameron area?

Bryant,

Do you have a closeup pic so that I can read the ingredient list?

Thanks

I've got it at my place in Rogers.  Should have plenty, but just let me know which, and how much.  In addition, retail feed stores around the area are starting to stock it.  I'll check and see if there's anywhere closer to you as of now.

Chris,

I'll get a closer pic this afternoon.

You feed the 26-18?  That is what I would want to try.

Got a pretty large route that runs around the Comanche area once monthly.  That would get it pretty close to you.  Call Travis at the number above if your interested in getting on that route.

Matt,  I've been feeding the 21,15.

Do you have any dealers located in the South Texas area close to Corpus Christi?

It might be helpful, if you could post your delivery routes so we could see which one would be closest to us, to be able to contact you. Thanks

Same person, different feed.  This is a completely custom feed that was designed, licensed and only manufactured for Outlaw.  The other stuff (which is what sparked our interest in the feed business) was a repackaged mill run feed from North Texas.

For those that asked, I'll get an ingredient list this afternoon.

Also, for route info it would probably be best to contact Travis directly as he is the one running those.  I can help with local pickup.

Thanks for posting the info Bryant.

If distribution ever makes it my way, I would like to try some to see how my dogs do on it compared to the Victor.  Having tried Diamond, Sprotsmix, and Victor, so far I am most pleased with the Victor, but it still leaves me with a few "wants".

I have had similar experience with those three. Don't have any problem with Victor but this stuff has a bay scene on the front.....I'M SOLD Grin

Forgot to mention, feed is sold with a money back guarantee...nothing to lose trying it out.

Gentry was telling me about the feed the other day....

Gentry got a new dog.  I hunted with her the other night and was pretty impressed.
