Awesome pics! the "strangest" shots always turn out the best ... especially when the subject doesnt know its being photographed.

I sure dont miss those hot summers in the cow pens Grin I wouldnt know what to think if I had to get out and spend a few hours on a horse in this heat!

Good looking donkey lol I remember riding one named Billy Jack when I was about that little guys age after my shetland went on to greener pastures.  He had a cross on his back but was far from an angel  angel

Donk is as much an angel as I have seen for taking care of that young man the way he does. Beats all I have seen,  especially   for a donkey. I have a standing offer to buy him from Cattle as soon as he can do without him.

Cheers

If I had a gun on me, I would have had to write a check for #711. Would have dropped her in the pen, and drug her out for the buzzards.

735#....Told you I would go broke buying out of the pasture. Wink As for me running up a fence, I think ole Buttercup had my number. You ever seen a fat boy move as fast as I did yesterday?

Matt,
I think once word gets out that #711 is out of the ranch rodeo rotation, Chance might have a few more teams enter up this year.

Nija I feel like Chris has ruined my cow she has always been a bluffer but being he ran from her I think she might go ahead and commit to hitting someone!!Will you or Chris go over and fix her problem!!
She needs a psychiatrist but ya'll can cure her of her problem! The main cure is to just stand there and try to speak to her in a nice low tone voice!!

Chance,

You had a few that need some talking to, or maybe they are just too friendly Grin  One of them was hell bent on spending time in the saddle with me. I bet she tried to jump the fence and ride with me no less than 6 times.

I will be happy to give it a try as long as I can use a stick or a baseball bat as a back up!!! They have been pretty good attitude adjusters in the past! lol

Just hope you don't strike out that could be bad!!Even if you was to bunt her that still could be bad!
I had broke  a 1" pipe made for a spray rig over a cows nose while I was spraying them for fly's on a concreate pen!! She stated with me knocked me down started slipping and slideing all over the top  of me on the wet concrete I started crawling to the fence as she was hitting me and then she starter whipping me up against the soild wood fence so I cralwed back to the center of the pen and my uncle came and got her off me!!Everyone was hollering for me to get out of the pen but there was no chance of standing up with her knocking the fire out of me!!They said why did you crawl back too the pen I said it was hurting me against the fence she was just hitting me in the center!!

On second thought, I will pass.  Grin
When I was in school I worked some weekends at the Navasota Sale Barn. It didn’t take long to figure out that the bull alley was the best one to work!! Those cows would get you when you didn’t expect it and they really do hurt!!! lol

We sure liked dealing with Kenny Richardson at the Navasota and Industry sale barns. Hated to hear it when he passed a few years ago.
