Get with Noah.  The Snapper dog of his is black.  She will mug one quickly.  If you like them rough, I think she will fit the bill.  I saw a while back, he was considering selling her.  I've been to the woods on several occations with her.  She was catching her own by herself well before a year old.

Got some friends in Okeechobee that might be able to help you out. They usually have a couple of well started cur dogs for sale. I will check and get back to you.

Sorry to hear about your loss! it always stinks worse when they fall prey to gators!

Where are you from?  The man that has the foundation to our dogs has some of his blood available but he is from Clewiston.  They are JAM UP and rough as cobs, their only down fall is they can be extremely hard headed and sometimes a little stranger shy.

He will tell you straight up how they are, faults and all ... we are running one now that is a ridgeback/curr for him that is 2 yrs old and goes like no body's business but his downfall is he will trash if there isnt any hot sign and a coon just hanging out in his sight but is probably able to be broke with consistant training.  My husband said he had to foot ball tackle him the other night cause he couldnt get him to quit hunting so he could come home.

If you are interested I can ask, he mentioned the other day he would have dogs towards the end of October but he may have some now.

How much property do you have to hunt?  Maybe I should just drive my dogs down for a night to help you get your fix. Grin
I'm up in Sarasota. Don't know of anyone with dogs for sale though, sorry.
