Thre sent me a pic last week on the phone, but that pic did not do it justice. The pics you posted look outstanding. If I ever catch another hog worth mounting, I'll be heading to Thre's

Marvin as long as your happy with it. It was alot of work , they just don't make forms for hogs like that , so its all custom. Being a dog hunter myself I know the meaning of a good dog and it was an honor to have mounted the hog in memory of ole UNO! All thats missing is a framed picture of ole UNO under the mount.
To the members, Thanks for the positive comments on the hog. Means alot coming from other hog hunters.

wow, one of the best hog mounts i have ever seen! do they have a website? I know where to go when my dream hog is caught. Good way to always remember your dog too!

Good story behind your hog!!I have caught some bigg toothed hogs that sounded like a sow squealing never would mount them but one with a story deserves the right to be on the wall!!

Joey , I sent my wife to town to get some onions and when she got back this is what she saw when she walk in the door. . Sometimes you just gotta be the one to wear the pants in the house. LOL Thre and Herchiel had moved a " Self Potriat " of Melindas father from over the TV and was drillin holes in the wall.  And here is a shot from a distance showing my den. My wife says its looking like a safari .  nice hog and nice mount, what are the ribbons on the wall? were they won by the dogs?
The ribbons were won by some of my ol junky Dogos from a few dog shows that i entered them in.  |
