Yeah I don't figure my grass is doing to good in Calvert right now, 106 with a heat index of 112.  Little hard on things to say the least!

Just changed to 108 heat index 114!

109 with heat index 117!!!

104 here at Hondo right now. They are calling for scattered T-storms the next 2 days. I hope a couple will scatter over my place.

i dont know what you texans are complainin about, i thought that was normal. we've had 100-115 heat indexes EVERY DAY for two months now. well, i think we've had 2 or 3 days out of the last 45 or so with high temps less than 98.  and  i have had exactly 1/2" of rain here in the last 30-45 days.

but its supposed to cool off tomorrow!

Our a/c ain't blowing cold air during the day. It is a little better than outside but not much. When I get in the house clothes come off. It ain't purdy but I ain't gonna sweat in the house! Them yankees are having it good North of the Red River. Grin

I just droped $8,500 hundred bucks on a new central AC unit in my home! This heat finally finished it off! I used up almost all of my DOGO puppy money on that thing!!! Grin

Seriously, this heat is wearing me out completely along with everthing else!   Bring it on!!!

It finally rained yesterday here. But the wind tore everything up and the sun was shining again before the rain even stopped. So all we got was stuff tore up and higher humidity than the normal 200%. I am going to have to build a kennel with a/c to keep the dogs alive!
