We finally finished up corn harvest at the ranch yesterday, after a month of 7 days a week we were all ready for some time off before we start on beans.  I carried Brittany and Boss to work with me and asked several of the guys if they wanted to go and try to help me catch some more sows to tag.  Well, one of them told me about a big boar with a stub tail he saw a few days ago.  I couldnt resist that so we went to that area. Ricky came and brought Haley and Ariel(sp?) Levi also came and brought a pup. Took about 20 minutes and Rick's dogs found him.  Dogs rolled out and we ended up with 4. All decent hogs but the only sow we caught was off the ranch on another place we hunt so I didn't tag her.  It was a little different for me to have that many dogs and people on a hunt, but I cant remember a hunt I laughed so much and had that much fun catching hogs   Cool

Stubby tailed boar went 261 at the buyer.  He looked a lot bigger, in fact the buyer set the scales at 300 when I ran him in, he thought he would go at least that. Should have got pic in trailer, this one doesnt do him justice at all.

Good hog. Glad you got a break from work. Is the baby keeping you up all night?  Hope the little one is fat and sassy.

Good hog bud, funny how slick that big sow was and how wooly these past two big boars have been. Is boss your pup I saw?
