QUICK QUESTION. I BEEN BAITING MY TRAP WITH CHERRY KOOL-AID AND CORN AND I BEEN DOING PRETTY GOOD ON IT BUT NOW COONS ARE STARTING TO GET IN MY TRAP AND EATING ALL THE CORN. SO MY QUESTION IS DOES ANYBODY KNOW OF ANYTHING THAT WILL STILL BE CHEAP LIKE CORN AND KOOL-AID THAT I CAN USE THAT WONT ATTRACT THE COONS AS MUCH. I THOUGHT ABOUT PUTTING CHICKEN WIRE ALL AROUND THE TRAP BUT I FIGURE THAT EITHER THE COONS WILL TEAR THROUGH IT OR WHEN I GET A PIG IN THERE THEY WILL TEAR THROUGH IT AND I DONT HAVE TIME TO REPAIR IT ALL THE TIME.

i have had the best luck with diesel i usually let the corn wrot with a mixture of diesel water pickle juice kool aid powder and all other sorts of nasty stuff lol........i am kind of lucky because my cousin runs a grainry and i just get corn that has been sitting out there for months and just remember to be careful because believe it or not it can be too nasty for hogs......but diesel usually keeps the coons at bay
