Is she cold to the touch and lethargic?

I am thinking his parvo shot may not have been any good and that is an iffy age because there is a window of when mommas antibodies wear off and your parvo shot kicks in.

Get some  Karo syrup and rub in her gums to get her blood sugar back up, I have given our puppies peptobismal to try to keep the diarhea down but if she is already cold and you cant open her jaws then IMO that is the point of no return.

Remember to bleach the area and try to keep other puppies away because it is contagious.

If she is still alive keep giving her gatoraid. I kept three pups alive by just keeping them hydrated. Be sure to keep her nose lower then her eyes. I gave it to then with a syringe.

Milam, Don't kill yourself over her, Parvo is one of those things that you have to catch almost from day one for the pup to have any chance at all.

Grace, my BMC/PLOTT female got Pravo back in March, she was 6 months old. We had her on a whole cocktail of drugs... here is what she was getting...

100cc's of lactaid ringer under the skin, 3 times a day.
1/2 cc of cerinia once a day (anti pukeing drug)
Baytrial once a day (i'm not sure about the dosage anymore, just read the bottle.)
Pen-aqueous once a day
Kaopectate twice a day
all the baby food, pedialyte, pedia sure and warm sugar water I could keep down her.

I am a firm believer that what saved Grace just as much as the drugs was L-O-V-E... When I worked for a vet a while back, we would have parvo puppies come in, he would pump them full of drugs, throw them in a kennel and say good luck.  Grace knew I was there and that I wasn't gonna give up on her, or let her give up. I also caught the Parvo in Grace before she ever started puking or had diarreah, so that was a big thing to is that I caught it really early... I knew she just wasn't acting right.. It's called knowing your dog but i'm sure all y'all know that.

TTCG, you said you caught the parvo in Grace before she had diarrhea or vomiting. Did you're treatment keep her from getting diarrhea or vomiting all together?

well i found her in our shed laying down in a puddle of drool so i picked her up and tried to give her some feed out of my hand and she didnt eat so then i knew something was wrong and i got info on how to treat her from different reliable sources and at first i didnt think it was parvo because i had her in a plastic box inside the house and she got up out of it and walked and would look at me when i called her name but shortly after that i knew her fate was sealed because she couldnt keep down more than 1cc of pedialyte and then the blood came and then it was over.............i was wondering how long the virus can stay dormant because i havent seen any signs of the virus in any of my other dogs and they have all had their shots except for one who is on his second dose of the parvo shot.....i guess what i am asking is if i am in the safe zone?

Waarheid, amazingly, yes, Grace never started puking or diarreah on me, which was a miracle.

Milam, From what I understand, the incubation of Parvo is between 7-14 days. As long as all your other dogs/pups have had at least two shots, I think you should be ok, but just keep a close eye on them.

I noticed Grace was really tired, and sleeping more than usual, and just not acting normal, and rushed her to the vet...
