lol yeah i wash em..... they love it. my catahoulas will swim all freaken day if i let them. If i get the waterhose they run around wanting me to spray them. I can honestly say i love my dogs and I dont like smelling like crap after petting them so about once every two weeks or so I will give them a bath with dawn to keep the fleas off and to keep them smelling pretty. until they roll in somethin

I give my dogs a real quick bath in their kennles with a flea and tick shampoo about once every 30-45 days and i never have any flea, tick,or ant proublems around my kennels. I think the run off with the soap in it kills evrey thing around and under the kennels....

I have tie outs. Just start petting and then gently get the collar and walk em over. They are chained before they know what happened. Grin If they would stay out of the poop I wouldn't wash em as much! But I use the chain any time I have to do something that will make em run like medicine time! Actually I use the tie outs often enough that they know which one is theirs and they go to them. Then I just take the hose and bucket to each one. I clean the poop before I turn them loose. But my new Dogo pup ran under my truck after I washed him. I had an oil cooler line bust and the bottom of the truck has a nice coating of oil. Made that Dogo look like a Dalmatian! The dirt and poop are cleaning the oil off just fine!
