I would like to introduce everyone here on ETHD to a NEW association dedicated to working dogs and working dog owners. Many of us have been super busy putting this thing together and are very proud of what we have accomplished. We are a 501c7 nonprofit, meaning we can actually lobby legislature!! The Lone Star Working Dog Association protects and preserves the rich heritage of working dogs in Texas. Our goal is to present a united front consisting of members from all facets of the working dog community. Our Mission is: •Promote the unique skills and inherent abilities of working dogs •Educate and raise public awareness of working dog issues •Champion the rights of working dogs owners in the legislature Please stop by our new website http://www.lswda.orgIf you like what you see, register for our forum and become an LSWDA Member for $25 per year. Our working dogs should be classified as Working "Livestock", just like the horse, (Ranch or Property Management Livestock).
