Where is the cheapest and best place to get 3.6 v lithium batteries for tracking collars? Does anyone use rechargeable ones?

When I ran those type of trackers, I got mine from radioshack, good price and easy to get. I ordered and used the rechargable ones for a few months before I went to garmin and they worked great, seemed to even last a lil longer than the nonrechargeable.

I went to radio shack and they wanted 16.99 for one battery, so I didn't get any there! I may order online. Do the rechargeable ones take a special charger or can i use the one that I have for regular AA rechargeable batteries?

Academy has them over in the flashlight area. They're Academy brand batteries and sold in packs of two. I have a Surefire light that will illuminate a city block, but it eats them like crazy.

Bohannon Battery in Palatka, FL is by far the company to deal with. They ship nationwide. Ask for Josh Bohannon. Tell him I sent you to him. He will hook you up proper. If it is a battery, they can replace it. They rebuild cordless drill batteries too. Heck, they even put new batteries in my coon hunting belt light.
