Saturday my dad and I were cleanin kennels doing the whole nine and I wanted to get pics of some of our young dogs that should be getting it done after deer season is over. I was also so proud of my dogs, I was able to clean each kennel with the door open....of course there was one or two that tried to make a run for it but for the most part they just chilled and waited for me to finish....I was so happy cause before we used to have to put them on a lead take them out and then put them back in and it was more work than just going in there and getting it done without taking them out.

Here are our 14 month old pups from our Sophie and Montero cross. Im really proud of how these pups turned out so far. I like everything about them and I hope they keep getting better. They are naturaly bob tailed and there is one female that I didnt get a picture of that has a long tail, I was to tired to get her out of her kennel.

Calabaza (Male)

Chameleon (Male) He struck a hog on his first hunt.

Mocha (Female)

These dogs here are 18 months old, havent really hunted 2 of them but Sancho has been on a few hunts and so far we like what hes doing. The other two have been hunting once and the female caught a shoat on her own on her first hunt. Sancho is bobbed with double glassed eyes, and Sabina has a 3/4 tail with one glass eye. Junior is just normal lol These dogs also inherited the webbed flat catahoula foot.

Sancho

Junior

Sabina (her name is not missing an R lol)

I didnt get pictures of two pups I have from Paul T that are coming along good, Im going to start doing some staged hunts with them this week.

Good looking dogs Christina! What is Calabaza? Is he straight cur? Do you still have that red and white dog with the 3/4 tail that I liked?

Thanks for all the compliments guys  Smiley

First three are 1/8 Cat and 7/8 BMC. Out of our Sophie Dog
                                                                                >These two are out of our old Hank and Sadie dogs.
Last three are 3/4 Cat and 1/4 BMC. Out of our Bocano Dog

Calabaza is straight cur, he was the biggest pup of the litter and I dont know if you can tell here but he has a really thick neck....hes buff!
Chameleon and Calabaza were always my favorites....hell they all are! I have tried to bring myself to sell one because I have so many dogs but I just cant! They are the future of our pack.

The sire to those first three pups is out of Matts Brandy and Tater dogs, my Montero dog. I really like the way this cross came out. All the young dogs here are the next generation of our line, we only have two left out of Hank and Sadie. When Mocha gets old enough and proves herself Im going to breed her back to an uncle (the last male out of Hank and Sadie) She holds Sophie and Hanks traits that we want to reproduce, I am almost certain she will hunt like them.

Marshall, yes I still have that dog his name is Cody. He is the dog Im going to breed Mocha back to. Im so glad I never sold him because we would have nothing to breed back to. He is now leading our pack since we lost Sophie and Bocano and just retired our old Willie dog. He is still out hunting us!

The baby pup is doing great, I put him and his momma where Sancho was when you came over. Hes got a lot of spunk, and barks at those little hogs by the house cause they squeal everytime we pass by for food lol
