We had a chance to meet up with our Texas Connection and Cut em Loose Saturday... Jake (hogcatcher), Trey (chapa69) and Brandon Aka "Sparky" Rolled up to the Rice area and met up with us about 7:00am. We kicked out with some of our up n comers and some of Jake's Get R Done strike dogs and Trey's started Dogs. Dogs went to work in and out but nothin seemed to make them real piggy so we decided to cross the Creek... Boom the dogs hammered down and took off... They bayed up and we got situated with the catch dogs when we realized we had a monster! The three of us that had catch dogs layed it out by the book with a you ready CUT Em BOYS!!!! Man they locked it down;Ole George and Gus had an ear, Aubrey locked down on the Snout... Jake grabed a Leg and Trey Jumped in and layed this Big Boy over... I asked Dead or Alive... Takem was called out and I grabed the ole Buck Knife and eased him down... We had another bay goin 350 yards down so we hauled it and the had a sow that would go 220# We worked the area and Jake's Hound took one a Mile+ So we pulled up and decided to get the big boy out. Hope you enjoy the Pic's... Some of yall know we lost some mighty fine dogs this year... They must a put in a word with the man up stairs.... Thanks Boys Straight-Up!!!! Cause this hog is what hogdoggers dream about at Night!!!!

No we would have had to drive a long ways to get a final weight with a set of scales that would have gone over 400 lbs. He had a frame to go five hundred if he was fat... The fields were planted with cotton instead of corn this year... Thanks for the replies he is definatley a good hog. Our hunt was as perfect as it could have been for the circumstances... No dogs hurt, No hunters hurt, and some memories to last a lifetime for all of us involved... and when im old I will be tellin my grandchildren when papa got a monster by the tail...lol
