DOEHEAD, I put this on my pups saturday, they are 5 weeks old and i let it work for bout 24 hrs checked em and they had NO MORE fleas. that was saturday and i watched them closely to see if anything would happen and they look fine to me so i would say it is safe for them. i just put a little drop on their shoulders and rubbed it in.. seemed to work fine!

Today at Tractor Supply I saw a product called Gordons tree and shrub spray. exact same ingredient. It was like 16 bucks for the bottle. Just thought that may help if Bayer's brand is hard to find.

i noticed that they dont make the tree and shrub without fertalizer, but now they have a citrus and vegatable and it says nothing about fertalizer on it i think it has the same insecticide in it, might want to check it out.

I wouldn't simply because it would be on her teets when the puppies would nurse.
