I know Wick is no longer in business but I was wanting to get another pair of hip waders similar to what they sold. I have seen the "Yoders" and was not happy. Clint on here had a pair of hip boots and said they came from Tejas outdoors over in Athens TX. Does anyone know where any good ones are???

Dan's Hunting Gear is the closest thing I've seen to Wick. I bought a pair of " Froglegs" which is a pair of briar proof chaps sewn on a pair of muck boots. I love em. I got mine at WindwalkerOutdoors.com. Hope this helps.

I bought some from Valley Creek too that have the Muck boots with them and have no complaints. I waded water about mid thigh deep for nearly four hours last spring and I was dry as a bone. The are really handy to hunt in and they keep you a little warmer.

I have a pair from valley creek also and they are just as well as wicks. Good muck boots and briar proof chaps sewn together.

I have been hunting in the same pair of Yoders for 8 years and I have put many a tough mile on them and although they still dont leak the Lacross boot on them are about broke down. If I ever got my money's worth out of a product, it is these Yoder Wadders

Are you guys getting the "heavy duty" leggings?? The yoders that my buddy had were flimsy and not durable but they could have been the light duty leggings.

I think the ones I saw were light weight chaps. THere was a drastic difference between my old wick boots and the yoders. I have had my wicks for 7 yrs and still use them. New ones are on the top of the priority list though!!! Thanks for all the feedback guys.

I won them at National Redbone Days, Yoder was one of the sponsers. The Amish make them, they are the best I have ever owned and I like you are in need of a new pair. The souls are comming apart on mine, they have Lacross boots on them. Good luck in your search
