check out the link. i posted on another board about our hunt time before last(8pm to 4am hunt, which ended in us catching a cow..lol). some kentucky/tenn hog hunters basically have said our dogs are sub-par. actually said that we need to get some "good" hog dogs..lol. hell ya'll can read it for yourself. i have put forth an invitation to both guys to come to texas so we can see those super hog dogs they got out there in kentucky and tennessee. oh yeah..one guy has a 100% kill rate when hog hunting. everytime they get on a hog they always kill them, they are never out ran....lol

You'll read and hear all kinds of stories on the internet about super hog dogs and super hog hunters. People who think their dogs are the best and their way of hunting is the only way... it's best to just ignore them. As long as your dogs please you and you have a good time in the woods, that's all that matters.

We're not gonna have any trash talking and arguing over dogs on these boards. We're here to tell stories, share pictures and help others with useful information.

I may offend you here but it is not ment in that way, I have talked to people on that hunt and know the story but I didn't read the story you posted but if you actually posted that you caught a cow I would expect to hear some backlash.  I (knock on wood) have never caught a cow( I have bayed a few with young dogs) but if I did I would only tell my closest buddies and would NEVER post it on a Natl. AKC website for the whole world to read about.  THINK BEFORE YOU POST

Besides we all know Tenn and Kentucky doesn't have any real hog dogs anyway.....LOL

Every body gets smoked sometimes if they HUNT MUCH.  Not everybody on the computer is a REAL hunter.  If  you only go two or three times a year or hunt in a pen, then no you wont get smoked as often as folks that hunt several days a week on hogs that have seen a dog before. Besides to my knowledge their aint many hogs in KY or TN.

been out of town past several days....longshot i understand where you are coming from. the backlash really doesn't bother me, as i know the circumstances of the hunt and WHY it happened. it just floored me when he said that they were 100% when hog hunting....mike i would never dare bring trash talking to your arena here. the last post i put was my last. as when he said he has a perfect score when hunting hogs i knew he was talking out the side of his head...give me a buzz later this week i'm back in town and free during the evenings as of now...we start practice next week, i'll be out for around a month or so.

Duece,
I wouldnt stop posting, I just wouldnt broadcast to the World Wide Web that you caught a cow.    Hang with Mike and stay in the woods and he will teach you the ropes(or the mule tape).....LOL

It is easy to be 100% in a 50acre stocked pen, which is how most Tenn hog hunting is done.

Happy Hunting
