I have a garmin tracking collar that has only been used a few times and the battery wont charge. Any suggestions on how to fix it?

First try cleaning the Brass conectors on the collar and the charger side... I use a brass brush after every hunt to insure a good connection... if that doesnt help take the alluminum back plate off then four screws out of back... you may have to take the anntena off as well... open the box and make sure the connection to the battery is connected... I just seperate it and the plug it back in...

Buy you a bicycle tube and cut some long enough to cover the collar unit. No more dirt and crud in your charging ports.
 Good luck,   Patrick

I bought a universal bicycle tube.  It's tighter than a frogs ace, but it keeps it clean.  Roll it to the side to charge.
