I've never roped off of a horse. When your tied off to the horn while dragging, does the rope dig into your hip or leg? If not, why doesn't it? It sure looks like it would.

Even if it is a big hog? What about when a hog snags in the brush? Just seems like it would be cool to make a d ring at the rear of the saddle to clip off to for dragging. I don't ride anywhere as many hours a week as you do though.
