I had to drive around the world last night after work and pick up a bull I bought and take him to my parents where my cows are and drop him off.  I didn't get in bed till around mid night and I was worn out but I got up this morning with hogs on my mind and met up with Payton and Steven to catch some swine.  We turned out about 9:30 or so and had a bay immediately but it broke and scattered dogs.  We regrouped after having a VERY odd encounter with a fellow hog dogger on a neighboring property that I will write a story about later.  We loaded up and headed to the other side of the ranch and turned out, another bay with dogs scattered everywhere but this time there were three young dogs missing, two six-eight month old pups and one dog that was around a year.  We tracked around to them and could here them bayed.  I turned a few dogs loose and we went to them.  Imediately we could smell boar hog and sure nuff it was a goodun!  I would say around 260lbs with some sho nuff teeth.  Enjoyed it today fellas and look forward to the next run!
