went out this evening by myself with a one bay dog and one rcd for a quick run to a honey hole about 30 min. in to the hunt lucy got one bayed about 400 yards out witch is unusual for her she close range could here  jo caught  and hog grunting thought o s*** only had a 3 in pocket knife and no vest on cd  Huh?  got to the bay and dogs had a 200 lb er caught  lucy was just baying witch again unusual she is normal gritty as they come and will catch when cd catches but not this time  went in to leg the sow and taught i would tape the legs with some electrical tape I had from the truck  FAIL!!! broke though twice and was wearing  jo out then tried to tie with a small rope  but was weathered and keep breaking    so knifed her and was in the process of taking the head she had some good cutters was getting dark and had no light  and and lucy struck again  so just left it and headed to the bay got there and she had a piglet at least it was something i could carry out lol got back to the truck and noticed jo had a cut on his back just a flesh wound his vest wouldn't  even prevented it I thought it would have been worse the way this sow was working him at times it was hard to tell who had who but turned out to be a great hunt for being so unprepared only got a pic of the piglet when got home
