There has to be a easier dang way to get them out than dragging.  Dang pig about wore my butt out today.  Thaught about building one or buying one any ideas.  Or if someone builds stuff out of aluminum shoot me an idea.

I don't know about a wagon but if you take a couple of teenage boys who have something to prove, that works really well. Just step in front of them and say "Yall better let me get this, I wouldn't want you to strain yourselves." and then wha la, they will drag the hog out of the woods just to show you that they can.  Cool

I bet that if you tried it one time you would have fun with it. Smiley Besides hog hunting is way too fun to be grouchy.

This is what I use. It works great for hogs, deer just about anything you need to drag out and it holds up really good.

Buy a mule or a Rokon 2 wheel drive bikelol  Or get 2 of those American Giant Bulldogs with pulling harness and hook them up to the hog after they catch it, we used to tie javilinas to pit bulls by the lead ropes and they would head to the truck, it they got hung up they would bark or the terrier would go find them and bark so we find them, i got so tired of this dragging solo its not funny, especially when muddy and u are so small like i am.

^.....Ha Ha I was going to suggest that. Some of the better weight-pull dogs pull ridiculous amounts of weight on sleds, so I thought, ehhh why not?

I'm very seriously thinking about a pack mule or horse though. Where I deer hunt is some of the roughest country I've ever had to drag an animal out of. It's just up and down and up and down all the way in, and all the way out.

If you need to, you can always quarter the hog up and pack it out like that. There's also the option of boning it out right where it lays. Then you only carry out the good stuff.....

This is the best way i have found.  This was this horses first time hauling a pig . We hauled one alive and one dead out on him.  I figured we would start small and work our way up to the big ones.
