I have a dog that when he gets cut it takes him a long time to heal up. Anyone have any suggestions on things to do to help. It took him 3 weeks fo a little cut to heal up. I have never seen a dog that has this problem.

I was told by an old timer that if you put insulin in a jar of furazone (sp)  it will speed the healing time considerable. It is good stuff.

Go get u some Vetericyn spray. It is ten times better than cut & heal. It heals from the inside out. The would stays nice and pink with good blood flow

Feed him a few times a day, clean water, good shelter, keep it clean and  penicilin. If it gets dirty or infected scrub it with warm water with plain antibacterial soap
