Went down to Freer for a few days and shot some hawgs off a little ranch. Never saw a single boar, just sows. Brought 3 back and threw them on the pit. Hung the ribs in the smoker and just laid the quartered hawgs out with a homemade dry rub on them. Cooked 'em for about 6 hours until the meat was falling off the bones. Make you wanna slap somebody's momma!

This was right when I put them on. Looked alot better later but I didn't get a pic. I was too busy taste testin'.

man that does look good. I would like to see a pick of the smoker itself, i like the idea of hangin the ribs.

I'll try to get a pic but it's nothing special. Just a big BBQ pit with a metal box on the end for a smoker. I just put TexJoy BBQ Seasonin and black pepper and garlic powder and whatever else I could find on them.

That is about the only way i like to fix bear meat, is on a smoker,  I would love to be able to hang a couple racks of bear ribs like that.
