Just stumbled upon this on youtube.  Looks like the dane and dogo are wearing uglydog gear and the dane has on the boar bib.  Anybody know who this is?

Thats my Dane. He is young and never been hunted till I got him so I have been running him with a proven dog till he is reliable. The boar bib and cut colar is just till his Guardian comes in. All we saw that day was small stuff so I let the dogs strech there legs. Nothing worse for a young dog than a dry run.

Have you hunted other danes or is this your first one?  Just wondering how they are as catch dogs pretty agressive or would they kinda soft mouth it.  Man i bet the feed store loves to see you coming Grin

I have hunted with seven. This is the first one I have owned. They are very hard dogs once trained. All the bull about Danes not hunting has almost sent this dog to it's show dog grave. They are MASTIFFs and most will be very hard dogs. None of the Danes I have hunted or trained came from hunting parents but they all hunted. This is the great thing about hunting with Danes. #1 They are big dogs and people give them away all the time because of how big they get, and they have to move or something. #2 If the dog doesn't hunt for you it's a Dane and would take you less than a week to find someone that will take it. Get another and try again no money spent.

Over feeding Danes is a common mistake. You should not feed a Dane any more than you would feed any other big dog. It only takes about six cups a day.
