Well, me and my 3 yr old son Kaden decided we were gonna go for a cruise and take the dogs with us. (Keep in Mind I told My wife that we were just gonna drive around and she said with all the dogs and I said yes, she looked at me and smiled because she knew better) So I had dogs and Kaden loaded. Once I already got a ways from my house I look in the back and had no knife, no hobbles, only one dog leash and two ratchet straps lol. So we were driving north of town about four miles to a couple of places I hunt just to check them out while cruising and then all of the sudden I look to my left and there he is trotting to the south and I told myself and my three year old thats about right. He said what dad, I said a pig and he got all excited. I finally slowed down about two hundred and fifty yards down the road.  I let loose on that hog and my eight month old white catahoula named Flash, (in the pic) picks up scent and is gone followed by Sassy, who is half Rat Terrier and pit, and H who is my BMC. Two mins into the running the girls have this hog bayed then I have to turn around, get to the truck and pull up closer. They jump the road into my place where I hunt. They stopped him again and sassy caught on the ear and I let my catchdog Shrek go for more catching support. I grabbed my ratchet straps and my three year old and took off running to the bay about fifty yards from the truck. I knew it would be impossible to tie him up with my three year old in hand, so i let him stand at the top of the bank and watch all the action of his first official hunt. He has gone many times but always chose to sit in the truck with momma once the action started happening. I tied a fancy lil knot that boy scouts would be proud of. Once i got him tied up, my three year old tells me, "hurry up dad tie him up and lets go its getting dark." So thats what we did. My son walked into the house and the first thing he told his momma was, "Look mom, I have blood on my shirt, Im a big hunter now."  She jokingly told him he wasn't a big hunter until he "Knifes" a pig....So, he demanded he do just that. We didnt expect that we would, but sure enough, we got the pig hung at a buddy's shop and my son got his first stick! Not a bad "Cruise" at all!

Kaden, Flash, and myself!

NT-HOGGING, It was awesome he was very excited to be there and a little nervous, he had a great time.

Hoghunter59, there is no better feeling than watch him get so excited about it and finely get to experience it.

Rowdy, I hope she turns out she is the one that struck and started baying, I've never had a good strike dog and she looks to be turning into a good one.
