Has anyone used this design. I have ten cattle panels to use.  I plan to use 3" pipe at the beginning amd end of every panel and a t post in the middle of each panel. The loading/holding chute will be 8x3 and wrapped in chain link to hold any little ones. I think I am going to go with a sliding door instead of a guillotine as shown. Any suggestions or comments.

I am not sure I understand the reason for door #1.  Door #2 should allow for continuous trapping, but if door #1 trips, then you cannot trap anymore pigs.  Unless I am missing something obvious...

It is not a trap. This is going to be a holding pen. I want to keep a few hogs in here to work puppies on and such.

my trap/bay pen looks alot like that... my door is just the pen run back to itself and the spring of the panel holds it shut and new porkers can push in and join the party at anytime... Evil

that looks nice and simple.  just make sure door 2 swings into the pen so they cant get out.

That's a roger.  The swing door should come in handy when putting hogs into the pen.  It will be locked open when not in use.

The more I think about that swing gate the more I think it needs to swing both ways.  For loading pigs into the pen I need to have it open towards the pen.  To load pigs into the chute I would want it to open towards the chute and prevent the pigs from going back into the pen.  This will be very easy to do.  I will make the door with a big hinge on each side with the hinge pin made out of cold roll.  To lock the door shut just place a pin in each hinge.
