Bryant, my youngest boy and I headed out this morning after the rain and front blew through. We took two of our Tweety x Buck pups on their first hunt... Duke and Leroy. We were real proud of them for their first time in the woods. They rolled out with the big dogs as soon as we turned out. The dogs struck, went 500 yards and bayed solid in a big clump of rosehedge. We got there, sent Tink and Shiner, and caught a nice boar.

Me and Hunter...

Them dogs look real similar to mine... think we on different paths to the same place...  Grin

FINE LOOKIN' DOGS MIKE!!!!

I've been fightin' with myself on weather ta run my pups with the older dogs(and possibly get them put on a hog way over their skill level) or goin' the long road and just huntin them by themself till they start stoppin' their own hogs...

... Each one will have the chance to run with their momma tomorrow!!!

Always stressful startin' a good pup...  Grin

Good deal on getting em started like that. It is always nice getting on a hog and catching it when you first take em to the woods.
