I got stuck skinning hogs with a pocket knife with a 1 1/2 inch blade last week! I could have used this feller!

i work on a game ranch and we had to shoot a ton of deer just to fill our permits, and this place is classy nice stuff, but all they had to work with were two skinning knifes and a steak knife both of them so dull i could hardly break the skin, oh i was mad

The fastest gutters I know had questionable hunting tactics and seemed to have fresh meat year round The only thing I learned from them was to gut the deer where it falls. It is a whole lot lighter to carry out or they would say to throw over fence that is kind of high. But I have seen over ten deer hanging at one time and they were all in coolers real fast. The Game Warden just made sure the local orphanage had plenty to feed the kids. If not he might just notice more things. But those boys sure showed me how to get things done with just a Buck knife. A sharp knife was a bonus.

when i was a kid i knew a kid that could skin the legs back on a deer, cut the quarters out, roll the deer on its belly and split the skin down its back and cut out the back straps and neck meat and be gone in no time...
