Been able to make some afternoon rounds spending lots of time puppy training. All the old dogs are on the DL or flat just worn out. Made a decent hunt one afternoon when Andy and Drake rolled on about a mile and bayed 3 sows; the pups rolled off well and caught all 3!
Went last Thursday evening and caught this good boar. Andy, Bob, Briar, Sambo and Fawn went about a 1000 yards and sat down bayed on this guy. Ol Marshall got turned around with the bulldog and so for about 5 minutes I was screaming trying to get them to catch him. Finally Blaster and Drake got there and put the brakes on him. Not long and he was caught.
Made a round Saturday and the 6.5 month old Girlfriend pups found their first set of pigs. When the dust settled we had puppy's in 6 different directions and one piglet caught. They don't have the bottom and confidence yet to finish tracks solo, but they are coming on Strong!!!
