There will be sponsors. 1st place $1000 for best stringer of 5 hogs. 100% pay out on biggest boar and biggest sow.
No 2nd or 3rd place. "If your not first, your last" Ha Ha!! Sound good to everyone??

You either mail in or meet me in person prior to 6pm on Friday the 22nd of April. Me and 1 other person will be the judge of hogs brought in. ANY signs of cheating will be determinded by us. Dale Bennett and myslef (Brian Helm) I just want it to be fun for everyone and FAIR! I will not tolerate cheating what so ever, and that's one reason I'm doing this. Ive been guiding and holding hunts for a long time but I've never enter into a tournament because i know what my dogs will do and I didn't want to be cheated. I can tell everyone this, I will make sure this is fun for everyone and that there isn't any cheating.

do u guarntee a 1,000 dollar pay out if there are only a select number of teams, and do u plan on pocketing the left over say even it is $5,000? i just cant see that being all that great! i cant see myself payen 150 bucks just to see one team of four splitting $1,000. and are goen to judge these hogs just by sight, no scale for weight?

$1000 is to first place, that's gauranteed. Cook out at weigh in. Weight will be done by cetified scales. $20 per big boar and $20 per big sow 100% pay out.
If you'd like to help with this first contest I'd love to have a partner split the cost. Now if there is 30 teams then it will be allot more to 1st place only. I'm not doing this to make money, just trying to have a fair contest.
Any other suggestion, let me know. I'm all ears.
I'd like to know a close number of teams that would be REALLY interested though. Get your teams together and let me know!!!!

i just cant get over the 1st place pay out only! i personally would rather see less payout on first and see a 2nd and 3rd place to. i bet u would have a better turn out. if ur open for suggestions i would run a 80% pay out 1-3rd with a $50 dollar 100% pay out on largest boar and sow, take ur other 20% from ur entry fee buy all the stuff for a great lunch and then take the remainding money and donate that to! that way u have no cost out of ur pocket and u would`nt need a partner to share cost with. if u dont want to donate take that money and put it back in the pot. Thats the kinda hunt i would be into, maybe put a bay pen together see what kinda dogs everybody is worken with on some rank hogs, so that maybe some guys could get together for some future breedings.

I like the 80% pay out. I want to see a first place team take it all. Most hunts ive seen pay 1st 2nd and 3rd. This one will pay 1 team. So take 15 teams @ $150 per team @ 80%= $1800
Sounds like someone could make some money. All or nothing I'm going for. That's if 15 teams enter. If these work out I'll host them all the time, since i have connections with sponsors and all types of vendors etc. but i 'd like to see the winning results go to 1 TEAM.
I also have a really good bay pen I'm building right now! Can can do that another time if everyone would like.

A friend of mine just suggested this:
$100 per team 75% pay out to first place only.
15 teams= 1125 to first place.
How about $50 per big boar and $50 per big sow. Big boar and big sow will be $100 pay out.
Who is interested to see who has the best luck?

How about no guaranteed, $100 per team, pay out but 75% to first place full pay out for the first hunt your hosting, that way you can get an idea of the turnout. 25% goes to food/ beverages for a cookout. $50 additional fee for those who want to enter big boar ($25) and big sow ($25). Which those will be 100% pay out (only win if you enter it of course). I dont think there is any problem with just paying first place, who is huntin for second place That would leave $25 per team for food/beverages. $25 per man is the cheapest tourny your gonna find so hopefully that would get a better turn out and second place and third place wouldnt get their feelins hurt only losin $25 dollars a man - free food. If 15 teams enters the big boar big sow that would at $25 each that would be $375 payout for each!

I think he means 100% payout... not $100
