Made a trip out to a ranch i caught a good boar hog on a week or two ago last night and ended up with another good boar. I hit the same wheat field that the last one was in and didnt come up with anything, so me and my two buddies decided to go to the back side of the ranch and give it a shot. we were roading down the ranch road in some pretty open country, kinda looks like australia lol, anyways we came across a big cow carcass that stunk to high heaven. my dog rebel and another dog Heidi went 350 from the carcass and bayed up while we were waiting for my other 2 dogs to come back in from the other direction. went to them and cut the cd's loose. caught the hog, and he was a fightin SOB, he didnt grunt once or squeel or snort or anything, he just went to throwin my dogs in the air. got him stuck due to the spot he was in. Tellin you what... this was the stinkiest nastiest hog ive ever come across. It smelled like he was living in that cow carcass. you could tell he had been eating on it. whew! im not gunna pet my dogs for a week or so lol good hunt with the buds and no dogs hurt!  me and boar  buddy  the crew that got it done.. Been on a couple like that man they are bad actually had one bayed inside the carcus once

That aint no lie. Ive heard that their cuts can inflict bad infections due to all the bacteria in their mouth. I feel lucky we came out so good.

Good looking hog. Lot of people dont realize that hogs are scavengers too and will tear a dead animal up. I've seen them on the side of the road working a deer carcass up.
