I have a Weatherby Mark V Alaskan, in a 300 Weatherby mag, gun is brand new in the box...never fired...still in its original box,with original factory test target. This gun has electroless nickle plated, it was manufactured between 1992 and 1994, Weatherbys version of the stainless rifle back in the 90's, Weatherby quit manufacturing them in 1994 due to the high cost involved in producing the electroless nickle process.
