I far as I know there no hogs in bako. You have to go higher up for the hogs. I'm in Fresno about hour away. I hunt up in springfield which is got some hogs and it's about a 20min drive from bako. Fresno is the better area to hunt

Exactly what he said. Bako got to much city and not much farm land for hogs. But I will say the whole central valley got tons of hogs! So if you coming to bako you will find a place to hunt BUT the only problem is it's all private land here.

tx, are you movin to bakersfield? if so you will find california is a whole other world as far as hog huntin. unless doin depradation/damage control hunting we have to buy hog tags at over 20 bucks per hog. under sport rules you also cant hunt at night and can not stick the hogs. you also cant possess a live wild hog. and you cant sell hog meat or hogs either.

Can't say I know him. I'm not good with names lol. I hunt by myself in the Fresno area. But when I go out of town like crows landing and cameral valley I hunt with some old fellas that way. Heck no! Ill never leave Texas for good. On my way to bako for work and have sometime to kill.
Haha I'm fixing to get to Texas myself. California is a great and beautiful place BUT our senates and governor have F-ed it up for good!! indeed, but if it is in a pen its livestock.
Alll I do is ear tag them and brand them. Ive had fish and game come out and they can't do anything about it cause it been tags and mark as livestock

lol, actually our laws only differentiate between wild and domestic swine by if they are penned and or marked. but if you have a hog in a pen and say it or its ancestors were wild in california then you are in trouble.

I know petel very well. We both went to uncle earls this year. I got cats out of his line. I actually hunt with a guy name Eddie carman in crows landing. He an old hunting Parnter with pete and all of his cats are from pete and his line. As for Carmel valley I hunt with some younger twin brothers out that way. Also hunt with a guy name Toby lavender. We actualy hunt in hollister.

Ya they came out to a buddy of mine house and told them they had to ear tag the hogs to prove that it's not wild and blah blah so my buddy ear tag them with letters. And what he did was spell out f you and his name. Hahaha he would have never put all the letters together but it was a good inside joke for us all!!

Jeremy is one of the twins names. For the life of me I can't remember there last name lol. But I will say I'm almost sure they do got a bulldog name that. They got a catahoula/plot gyp that is there best dog. She brindle and they also big male catahoula. They live right off cameral valley road and the ranch they hunt is right off there. There buddy name is Brian that owns the ranch. They all drive Toyotas.
