For you guys that keep dogs on chains what do y'all do to keep from your dogs tipping over the water during the hot summer

At ny old house I chained them all around the pond. When we moved to town I buried 5 gallon buckets.

I keep extra large water buckets and keep em full. The dogs can't tip them and they are to tall for the males to piss in.

Try and get some 55 gal plastic barrels and cut them a little less than half and fillem up...or stake a milk crate to the ground and put a 5 gal bucket in it.

Drive you a t post in the ground and bailing wire and tie the handle of the bucket to the t post. Whenever you go to dump out the water all you have to do is pick up the bottom of the bucket. Works good for us! Good luck
