Okay I know you asked a while back and no one has answered you. I am a BIG fan of Hairdale terriers, love the terrir tenacity big or small dog! Anyway, the last purebred I had was my favorite of the few pure ones I messed with. He was just starting to mature and settle into using his nose and figure out to take a trail at nearly two. He was a smaller sized dog, and came out of a pet home and I was not able to trace his lineage so I know hat does not help you much. As much as I have looked I have not been able to find a breeder of hunting Hairdales in TX. Her is a link to a websire that I referrenced alot of info from in California, maybe get a dog from them and have it shipped to you http://www.huntingairedales.com/index.htm

Good news! I found a litter of pups in Texas, and they should be the right bloodlines if the ad is correct. http://www.texassalebarn.com/details.cfm?ID=31602

oorang are the large type. they cross over good with the standard type. I kept and bred a few for about 10 years a good while back.

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog... A hunting dog is born not made...
