I have the 4 month old english redtick pup that i'm not sure if i want her to be a coon dog or hog dog. Her daddy was a started on coons but he was more interested in hogs. Should i have her for coon hunting or hog hunting?

Make a coon dog out of it.

Registered or no?
If she is registered coon hunt her because you can make some good money coon hunting, if not hog hunt her and see how she works, you can always switch her if she doesnt do as well as you think she should but dont wait to long to make that decision if you decide you dont like her on coons hurry and change her to hogs and see how she does

I usually start my hounds on coons, if for some reason they dont tree to my liking or not at all but are good fast traill dogs, i will put them on hogs.

IMO, Some hounds just aint built to run hogs, so i take that into consideration too.
