I used to be severly allergic to it when i was younger, but hardly ever get it now, not bad anyway. The best thing i have found to help with the itching, is to keep the affected area as cold as you can. Even if it means putting an ice pack on it.

Heard MythBusters did a show on poison ivy being cured by vodka rubbed on it. I didn't see it but one of my church members did. He was bad allergic to it and the next time he got into it he used it. The next day you could not even see a rash, redness or anything to show he had been in it. He wasn't the type to lie but I'd like to hear more if anybody wants to experiment. External use only lol.

vodka works wonders with hot sauce too, it removes the oil so i guess it would work on poison ivy
like i said before whiskey works its wonders
