Marshall Mims, his cousin Andrew, Nickshu11 and I went yesterday afternoon around 5pm to try and get revenge on some boar hogs that been whooping our dogs up.. We took Big E's Boogie AND 2 of his 8 month old girlfriend pups Dixie and Scar. I had Drake, Briar and my 7 months old pups and Nick had Tex and Carmen. Of course Nick was late and we had dogs scattered by the time he pulled up. Boogie was already bayed at .8 of a mile to the East and the pups were returning from a deer race when Drake and Dixie rolled off to the south working into the wind. 680 yards later Drake was showing bayed which worked out perfect bc Nick pulled up at that exact same time and we cut his 2 loose from the truck. Andrew and I drove around to them in the edge of the pine plantation and everything was still hammering. Right as Marshall and Nick pull up with Obama you hear the hogs wreck a dog and it breaks. Everything except for Dixie rolled to the East on this big barr while she headed the other direction with the another big barr. They had this big guy sat down again about 140 yards away, i was jumping up and down screaming for them to turn the CD loose as I had already seen that it was a big barr and we werent letting him get away. Well he breaks out right in front of me with puppy's eating his ass up. They cross a decent creek that the dogs have to swim and within about 80 yards they have him sat again with Obama in the wake and coming! We hear him hit and the fights began, we all shed electronics and got to swimming. They had him in a blow down backed up against some limbs. Drake and Obama are sat down on each ear and all I could do was flank him and bear hug him as he was sitting on his butt. Marshall and everyone was a few seconds behind me, we were finnally able to work a leg out out and we had him wheel barreled pretty quick. Nick was pulliing limbs out the way like a champ and Adnrew got in to help flip the front leg and Nick climbed up on top. Caught barr He ddi a number on the dogs and Obama was fading fast with a hit to the jugular, we got him in the water and I tied my shirt around him til we got it clotted. IT was a close call as we almost lost him. Nick's Tex dog took a nasty cut in the chest that had already swole up the size of a grapefruit. haha Tex is the loosest baying dog aRound but put we our dogs and he gets rough I like it! about an hour and half later we finally get the hurt dogs put up, line out where everything is at and try and get some more hogs caught. Big E shows up and they all go to Boogie who has had a sounder bayed for about 3 hours, the hogs break as we add Blaster to it and we finnally cut the the dogs off. Briar Drake abd Dixie had rolled off obn the other barr and we couldnt even pick them up with the long range antenna. We finaaly get a few miles around to where we lost them and they are coming out right at dark worn smooth out. me and Nick me and andrew, his first hunt, He is completely ruined Andrew, Marshall, Me and Nick We are still missing Dixie as she showed up from Big E's house and did not have a tracking collar on. Anyone around the New Waverly area that sees a dirty yellow gyp with a dark mask and blu collar please get in touch with me. There will be a reward if the dog is found, thank you for any help Dixie is the dark masked puppy hanging her head over the seat

Really appreciate all the comments guys! Spent an hour before school and 3 hours this evening looking for her! Still a no-show, this block of woods has claimed more dogs then any other piece we hunt. Big E's lost numerous pups to the "grizzly bears" that roam these thick east Texas woods. We hope she turns up but the chances are slim pic from today of the Barr in the bay pen

No shirt trick.. But she usually runs loose and being less than 2 miles from her house, she knows how to get back home as they are constantly terrorizing the local deer herd
