Is there a vest that is as protective as "wet felt", beleive the one my son uses came from Jim Crainer many years ago and is in bad shape. Would like to find him another but want one that will work the same way. He has caught some good toothy boars and you can see the boar banging against him and no cuts with the "wet felt". In the thread about "show your best catch dog???" there is a dog Reign(sp) looks like he has a "wet felt" vest on, looks very similar to my sons.

I spoke with larry parish about the wet felt vests a few weeks ago. He said he is not doing them anymore cause that stuff is so hard to work with. That was the only guy that I know used wet felt but I dotn knwo much!!!!!!
