I got a female redbone I would like to breed to a pit. I just wanted some thoughts on how good that cross would work as a catch dog or a running catch dog

from what I hear they make good running catch dogs. |

Yea. That's what I thought but I was hopen I could use one as straight catch. I live on my ole ladies parents land and her mom has a problem with anything pit or bulldog. So I was hopen I could cross that and get one with more of a hound look but who knows guess ima just have to get her stuck and see. If it don't work out I guess ill have pups for sale.

It's very possible to get straight catch dogs from this cross. I would keep several and see what happens.

I got a pit i am trying to breed he is my only catch dog and i am willing to try i would love a running catch dog if your not to far we can try if you want you can call me 936-240-9769 Greg

A friend we hunt with time to time he only has a few dogs and is pretty much out of it but he has a half red bone half pit all catch gets the job done

Bayedup where bouts you at I live in coolidge but maybe when this hound comes in I can bring her your way and we could split the litter 50/50. My number is 254-747-2073. She catches as it is but she just ain't got that mouth like a pit. I want that lock down and knock down power.
