My brother and I decided to make a quick run this morning and Aaron and Mason decided to join us. Aaron and Mason were running a few minutes late, so Richard and I went ahead and started. About 10 or 15 minutes in a young dog we just got struck and all the dogs were there bayed in no time. It broke and we managed to get it caught when they bayed back up. It was a good sized boar hog with some good cutters. Our new dog Cricket was not looking so good due to the heat, but about that time Aaron and Mason showed up and we were able to get the dogs to some water. Roaded around for about another hour and got on a sickly looking sow. Called it a day. It was great to meet you Mason. Hips, Cricket and me with boar   |

Little Cricket has some go to her but she needs to get her lungs in shape to match her drive. LOL Not a bad problem to have!
It was a last second hunt when mother days plans got changed on saturday nite so it was different for the two us to just hunt by ourselves with just our dogs. I really enjoyed it and because we knew all of the dogs on the ground so we were able to take our sweet time and just let them bay there hearts out on that boar. We walked to within about 60 yards, could see the boars back just over a blow down, and watched the dogs work. Would have been great video......
