I finally got my sqelf a new gun it's a marlin 795 semi auto with a 10 round mag of 22lr for my birthday
Do y'all think this would be a good backup gun is ammo prices go up and can't shoot the 357

Yep,....it would be a good back up gun. Get some Stingers made by CCI, they're just one notch below a 22 mag. Killed a lot of hogs over the years with a 22 lr, it's not the best gun for that, but it'll do better than a knife if things go to hell on you.
