The fleas at our house have seem to have some sort of resistance to EVERYTHING this year. We have spent a bundle on.... Bayer tree and shrub, advantics, and comfortis and we have managed to cut down the population for now but we havent gotten rid of them completely. I don't know what else to do ... Oh and we did spray the yard down with bayer. Sorry, I almost forgot to respond to your question. Adams flea spray is great for puppies.

I did a conversion a while back and Bayer tree and Shrub with the .72 active ingredient will take 30 cc's or mils on a 20 to 50 lb. dog and Ortho with the 1.47 percent active ingriedent will take 15 mils or cc's.
I suspect the reason why the fleas are getting immune is probably due to not putting on enough of the product on the dog. The info I got was from the advantage pack that costs an arm and a leg. It also said that a pup can not be given this product unless it is 7 weeks old or older.

Training dogs is not about quantity, it's more about timing, the right situations, and proper guidance...After that it's up to the dog... A hunting dog is born not made...
