I went to the feed store and got that horse weight and muscle builder. It sais to give a horse 2 of the cups that is provided in the bucket and to mix it in there feed so ive been mixing about 1/2 a cup in all my dogs feed...there gaining wight and keeping there muscle tone a lot better then they have ever done....everyone knows its hard to keep a weight on a GOOD dog that runs 3 and 4 miles 4 to 5 times a week....yall need to try it

Some of my dogs didnt like it the first 2 or 3 times i was feeding it but they have started eating it mixed in and it has sort of cut back on how much they have been eating also. That night and my dogs usually were done eating with in 5 to 10 mins

HogDog9, if you are feeling the stuff that I feed my horses it's in a white tub, and is Farnam's Weight Builder. Stuff works awesome on horses, I will have to give it a shot with the dogs, how do you get it to stick to dry food?

Another thought to, I do put Red Cell on my dogs food once a week, they don't like it much, but I've noticed that they are tons shinier and have a lot more energy.

Yea i think thats what it is COWGIRL....when i feed my dogs i take all there food bowls and just put 2 scoops of food in there bowl and add a half a can of cheap dog food then sprinkle it on top of all of it. You said you are using red cell, i use to use it to and my dogs didnt like it ether so i just put a scoop of penut butter in there food and put the red sell on it along with there food. Trust me my dogs know what a peanutbutter can is..... lol

peanut butter and Tuna fish.  There is a type of oil you can put on their food also. I will remember in a bit.

Coconut oil...works great, cheap, and dogs will darn near chew your hand off getting it off the spoon.
